We have recently had 2 more broody hens. Unfortunately the first hen only hatched 4 chicks of which only 2 survived. The second hen hatched 7 chicks out of which 6 are surviving. These are all healthy and should go on and do well now.

The guinea fowl have now started to lay. As soon as we get another broody hen we will try hatching some of these. These are very odd looking birds that look very prehistoric and are very funny to watch running around.
